You can run a daily waste report using the pre-built 'Daily Detail' Cube report, located in the Reporting section of your Pulse dashboard.
Step 1: Click "Run" and choose your desired timeframe for the report. You can also select specific stores or departments/categories, but you can always filter these out later if not needed.
Step 2: Once the report has loaded, click "View."
Step 3:
You can customize the report by dragging and dropping Department, Category, Store name, and Product categories based on the information you want to see. Drag the "Store name" to the top to expand the Departments.
Step 4: Click the gear symbol next to Department to filter the departments you want to see waste on.
Step 5:
Drag the "Product" filter down to the report to view individual products. Whenever you see the symbol, you can filter within that and drill down further.
Step 6: To view the waste for these products, click the "Fields" tab on the right-hand side. Scroll to the bottom in "All Fields," add "Waste" and "qty" from the calculated values section, and apply.
Step 7:
You can now see the Waste and Quantity for the listed products.
Step 8:
An easier way to view this is by clicking the "Options" gear on the right-hand side and selecting to view it in Flat form.
Step 9:
Your report should now look like the example below. You can click the "Export" button to export it to Excel, PDF, etc.
