Shelf watch combines your trading data with data from the shelf, allowing you to take a strategic look at what is going on on your shelves.

- Understand performance on a shelf by shelf basis
- Understand what products are not performing relative to other products on the same shelf
Our shelf availability solution, Captana, is required for this feature to be enabled.
To access Shelf Watch, click on the left sidebar
Pulse presents a summary of the products being monitored and some key KPIs.
All KPIs are calculated based on the past 28 days.
- Shelves being monitored by Captana
- Sales of the products on shelf
- The number of products out of shelf
- Products underperforming (Not selling at a rate in line with other products on shelf)
- The cost of out of shelf products (In lost revenue)
- Squatters (Products not selling on the shelves)
- Bleeders (Products in the shelf not covering their cost of being on shelf)
- Shelfwarmers (Products with a slow rate of sale)
When you click any of the cards along the top, the table below will update with the relevant content.You can view:
- Summary information for each shelf
- Camera information
- Products out of stock and the lost revenue
- Products selling slowly
- Products not selling
- Products where margin gained does not cover shelf cost (Cost per metre per shelf is defaulted to £/€2 per shelf but can be configured per shelf)
- Products linked to the wrong barcode on shelf
When viewing the shelf information, you can click on the different levels to view information specific to each shelf. You can see the sales for each level, as well as the sales for each product on the shelf.
So now with Pulse you can analyse your store's performance at department level, category level, product level, and also at shelf level!
